CredSpark offers several ways to customize how participants experience your interaction - including Skip Logic, Question Display Logic, and now Section Display Logic.
Section Display Logic lets you control when a section is surfaced for users, based on a participant’s previous answers and other response information (eg. custom tags and time spent), and hidden fields. This is helpful when you have a group of questions that should only appear under certain conditions.
Here’s an Example
Question 1: “Which department are you part of?”
- If the participant selects Marketing, they see the Marketing section with marketing-specific questions.
- If they select Sales, they see the Sales section instead.
- If they select Operations, they see the Operations section instead.
How to Set It Up
1. Create a Section for each set of questions you want to appear as a group.
2. Click the Edit icon for the appropriate Section.
3. In the pop-up window, go to the Display Logic tab.
4. Click on +Condition to add a new rule
5. From the dropdown, select the question or criteria (e.g. hidden fields) you want to base your rule on (for example: Q1: Which department are you part of?).
6. Choose a condition (such as is one of the following) and select the answer option(s) that should display the section.
7. In this example, we are setting up logic for the Marketing section, so Marketing is selected as the response option.
Click Save.
When logic is applied, an eye icon will appear next to the section name.
Here is a quick video showing how it would look for participants: first answered as the Marketing team representative, and in the second attempt as the Sales team.
