Encouraging quiz participants to share your quiz or survey on social media is a great way to increase the number of people who see and engage with your content.

CredSpark gives you two options for promoting sharing on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter:

  1. Share a link to the page where the quiz is embedded on your site. We recommend this because it will drive visitors to your site. However, you may need to update some settings on your site to get your preferred experience—see more, below.
  2. Alternatively, you can share the quiz itself on social media—this will allow you to collect data but will not drive users to your site.

Whichever method you choose will apply to all three platforms.

NOTE: Do not upload an image if you use this method—it will not display. Instead, Facebook will choose an image for you, usually the largest image from the page you are sharing. Facebook has size limits--the image file must not exceed 8 MB. If the images on your website exceed that limit, no image will be displayed.

Share the Quiz

To share only the quiz, go to the “Promote” tab, upload the image you want to be used for sharing, and add text (optional):

We hope this article is helpful; your main takeaway should be that if you want to bring traffic from social media to your website, you may need to adjust some settings on your site to make that an optimal experience.

If you simply want to collect data from a quiz or poll, you can share it directly, but you will not be driving traffic to your site.
