"Allow Retakes" is a great feature that can improve your data quality. It helps you maintain the integrity of your assessments--you can control whether or not your audience can retake an assessment, and if so how often retakes are allowed. This means you can control the quality of your data.


To enable the retake controls, select the "Allow Retakes" option on your "Create/Edit" page. Once you have selected the "Allow Retakes" option, select the frequency you wish to allow retakes from the "Limit" drop-down menu:



IMPORTANT NOTE FOR DEGREED USERS: If you change the minimum passing score while an assessment is active, Degreed will mark the assessment as verified according to the minimum passing score set at the time that the user took the assessment. This means that, if you change the passing score from 80% to 100%, users that took the assessment before the change will be marked as verified if they achieved at least 80%.
